Use this fogging solution insecticide outdoors in your Burgess or Bonide Thermal Foggers. Resmethrin Fogging Solution is the same as Burgess Bug Killer Insect Fog and other brand names that all contain the same active ingredient, at the same strength. Resmethrin is a first generation synthetic pyrethrin, a man-made mimic of natural pyrethrins. [These natural pyrethrins can be found in .5% Fogging Solution (a ready to use product) and Exciter, a highly concentrated form of pyrethrins used for fogging and spraying.]

Use Resmethrin Insect Killer Fog to kill flies, mosquitoes, gnats, fleas, ticks and black flies in small area applications. Hold thermal applicator at least five feet from any object, especially plants and shrubbery. Avoid wetting foliage. Apply undiluted at the rate of 1/2 gallon per 5800 square feet. Fog only when there is no breeze or the wind velocity is less than 3 miles per hour . The ideal time is generally at dusk when the wind dies down and the air temperature and ground temperature are approximately the same. Under these conditions the fog will linger in the treated area for a longer time. Apply fog while moving away from treated area. Keep away from food, humans and pets. Avoid inhalation of the fog. Do not smoke while fogging. Do not enter the treated area until the fog has dissipated. Repeat application as necessary.
